- 47.25 a night for EHU and hard standing.
- Code for the Johns, water/power failure some of the time. Glad we had water on board and emergency facilities.
- Minimal mobile and data signal. Wifi available for 1 device for limited time unless you pay more. Useless.
- Tasty bread on order through reception.
- Play Area and lots of chums for the smalls.

Slow road driving through Chew Magna, picnic at Chew Valley Lake (2.30 to park for 2 hours, ice cream van and clean public Johns), West Harptree, Blagdon, Rickford Chapel, Goatchurch Cavern, Cheddar Gorge, Cheddar village. Back through Cheddar Gorge, detour looking for somewhere to stop.
No chance of parking the van anywhere near Cheddar village. Only a few coach spaces, none free. Clearly need to come at a less peak time and in a smaller vehicle.

Planned to park at Early Doors Cider Barn just out of Cheddar, but got there and didn’t like the look of it, sign said Live Music, not conducive to a good night’s sleep, so ended up at C&CC Cheddar Mendip Heights for the night before moving on again, in the pouring rain…
