Pre-booked this one weeks in advance before the onslaught of weather. The only site where we booked a grass pitch. Arriving after some serious torrential downpours. Trepidation.

We successfully negotiated the narrow entrance, and parked in the top car park to go and have a look around before booking in at the bar.

There seemed to be a bit of hardstanding free, if we couldn’t get on it we were going to move on.

Thankfully, the staff were really understanding, and the HS pitch wasn’t booked for the night, so they let us have it for no extra charge. We booked in for a meal at that point.
